Perception of Association between Social Favourability and Emotional Feigning among College Learning Community

In the present times, acquisition of popularity through favourable responding has established itself as a common phenomenon in the learning population. Extensive literature survey portrays that there exists a lack of research which shows clear relationship between Social Favourability and Emotional Feigning. This research plays a significant role in finding if there exists a relationship between Social Favourability and Emotional Feigning. Additionally, it seeks to explore the link between Social Favourability and Emotional Feigning among undergraduate learning community, with a particular focus on gender differences. It entails quantitative research design with a sample of 60 students aged 18-24 years. The study further includes the use of t-test and product- moment correlation for statistical analysis of the obtained sample. The result portrays that people who score more on Social Favourability score more on Emotional Feigning. This research further paves way to comprehend Social Favourability as a possible factor of feigning and other forgery in the learning community of the existing higher education sector.Metrics
