Resilience is the process and result of successfully adjusting to harsh or challenging life situations, particularly through mental, emotional, and behavioral flexibility. Psychological well-being refers to a person’s overall mental and emotional state, which reflects their psychological Health and life satisfaction. Well-being and Resilience play a crucial role in preventing the onset of mental health issues in elderly people and reducing the severity of those mental health issues that currently exist. The present paper focuses mainly on resilience and Psychological well-being in elderly persons because it is important for maintaining a high quality of life in old age. The adaptation to changes, maintaining a positive outlook, and experiencing a fulfilling life are the key determinants of wellbeing in elderly people.
