Digital technology has become an integral part of human life, essential for tasks ranging from filling out applications to receiving money from banks, all of which are now conducted online. Despite its ubiquity, digital technology remains unevenly distributed, leaving many individuals unaware of government initiatives intended for their welfare. These individuals encounter significant challenges in accessing technology when needed. Factors such as socio-economic background, illiteracy, lack of awareness, and availability contribute to this digital divide. Consequently, the development of the nation is at risk, as true progress occurs from the grassroots level. This research paper examines the various factors contributing to digital inequality and access disparity, their impact on government efforts to develop the economy, and proposes measures to address this issue.Metrics
