Abstract

This research study assessed the Impact of Sleep Education on the Sleep Quality, Emotional Regulation, and Impulsivity among Undergraduate college students. The participants (N=10) were assessed using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, the Difficulties in Emotional Regulation Questionnaire and Barrat Impulsiveness Scale before and after a Sleep Education program with a 20-day span to see the effects of the intervention. The participants were all undergraduate students who were studying in Bangalore. The participants maintained a Sleep Report for the first 4 days and the last 5 days of the 20-day period. The findings show that there is a significant difference in Sleep Quality before and after the intervention (t = 3.803, p<.005). There was no significant difference in Emotional Regulation and Impulsivity before and after the intervention.
