The Mantra is the sacred sound or syllable to communicate with God and Goddess for the accomplishment of goals. During vedic times, for inner peace, calmness and to connect with the almighty sages used to chant mantras. The mantras are being chanted to solemnise and ratify hindu rituals during Yagna and Arati. The chanting mantras activate brain cells and rejuvenate the mind by which tranquillity of the mind can be attained. The present paper is an attempt to highlight upon the meaning and significance of mantra, as well as its impact upon the body, mind and soul.Metrics
