In an era marked by increasing digitalization, this research explores the potential of AI-driven chatbots, specifically Wysa, in addressing mental well-being among adults facing anxiety, depression, and stress. The central aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of Wysa as an accessible and destigmatized form of mental health support. Employing a quasi-experimental design, this research analyzes user engagement patterns and self-reported outcomes to determine Wysa’s efficacy in providing therapeutic assistance. Participants were recruited through a snowball sampling method, and the study involved assessing psychological distress levels using the DASS-21 scale before and after a three-week intervention period with Wysa. All participants provided informed consent, and ethical guidelines were strictly adhered to throughout the research process. While the global AI landscape continues to expand, this study contributes valuable insights into the practical application of AI in mental health care, informing future developments in digital interventions. The findings will give a conclusion about Wysa’s potential to promote equitable access to mental health solutions globally.Published
