This study investigates the psychological counseling needs (PCNS) and mental health (MH) of adolescents, comparing the effects of maternal employment on male and female adolescents. The sample consists of 200 students from the Nainital district in Uttarakhand, India, divided into groups based on their mother’s employment status. The results of the study indicate differences in both psychological counseling needs and mental health outcomes based on gender and maternal employment, with significant interactions between these factors.Published
