Indian Army’s Role as a Change Agent in Environmental Justice & Corporate Social Responsibility

Abstract

Introduction: This research delves into the multifaceted role of the Indian Army as a catalyst for change in the realms of environmental justice and corporate social responsibility (CSR). Through a nuanced exploration of its initiatives, the paper elucidates the Army’s proactive stance towards environmental conservation, community development, and collaboration with corporate entities. It examines initiatives such as afforestation drives, waste management programs, and community outreach endeavors aimed at bolstering education, healthcare, and sustainable livelihoods, while also analyzing collaborative efforts with corporate partners to address pressing environmental and social challenges.
