Abstract

Past Life Regression Therapy (PLRT) is a therapeutic approach grounded in the belief that unresolved issues and traumas from past lives can influence an individual’s present mental, emotional, and behavioural patterns. This study explores the potential of PLRT as an intervention for addressing chronic anger and loneliness. Utilizing hypnotherapeutic techniques, PLRT enables individuals to access subconscious memories that may hold insights into the root causes of their negative emotions. The therapy aims to help clients reframe and release these memories, thereby reducing the emotional burden they carry into their current lives.  The focus is on understanding how re-experiencing and resolving past-life memories can alleviate deeply ingrained feelings of anger and isolation. This abstract highlight key findings from a systematic review of existing research and case studies, demonstrating how clients have benefited from this therapeutic method. Participants reported enhanced emotional regulation, improved interpersonal relationships, and a deeper sense of connection and purpose.   While PLRT remains a controversial approach due to its reliance on the metaphysical concept of past lives, its efficacy in addressing emotional distress warrants further exploration. This research emphasizes the integration of PLRT with conventional therapeutic techniques, fostering a holistic approach to emotional healing. The study concludes with recommendations for ethical practice, including maintaining client safety and ensuring informed consent.
