This study attempted to find the relationship between emotional intelligence and conflict resolution among newly married couples. It is a quantitative study in which the research design used in this study is “correlation research design”. This study involves all type of newly married couples irrespective of their age by using simple random sampling technique which has been done through 100% offline mode and the statistics used were Pearson’s correlation coefficient in order to find if there is any linear relationship between two variables. The independent variable, emotional intelligence is measured by using Anukool Hyde, Sanjyot Pethe, Upinder Dhar’s Emotional Intelligence Scale (EIS-HPD) and the dependent variable, conflict resolution is measured by using Jock McClelland’s Conflict Resolution Questionnaire.
