Workplace Spirituality: Possible Organizationally Relevant Outcomes

With the help of this research paper, we empirically gave the term, “Workplace Spirituality”. This is not the spirituality that is meant by religion or any culture but it is something that the paper targeted to focus more on spirit like the life support principles or life principles. The paper positively focuses on the meaningfulness of the work in the workplace and add on organizational support and value to the employee-authority relationship. With the help of this qualitative research paper, we can further prove the variables as an organizationally important outcomes by some interventions or with the help of the scales available in this context. The variable that are found through this research paper are turnover intention, job performance, innovative behaviour and work engagement. As a conclusion this paper finds that if an individual finds a meaning in their work at the organization the chances of the turnover intention will be lower as they will get involved in their innovative behaviour and the authority will also reinforce it by giving them the chance to get heard and as a result of which their job performance and work engagement will increase. This will also lead to the good inter-personal relationship between the employee and their authority which further results in a happier, satisfied and healthier workplace organization and work life balance of the employees.Metrics
