The present paper aims to review the mental health resources currently available in India for individuals seeking online or on-call counseling services during crisis situations. A comparative literature review was used to identify the strengths and limitations of the different helplines currently available in India. A list of helplines and services were reviewed and interviewed to understand their working model and whether they were actively functioning. Findings from this study can help in determining and facilitating the presence of culturally appropriate, easily accessible as well as valid and genuine helpline resources across the country.Metrics
