Abstract

This study examined how humor styles and self-esteem are correlated.75 samples were selected through random sampling. they completed the Humor Styles Questionnaire and, Rosenberg’s Self-Esteem Scale, shared using google forms. Results of the study showed affiliative humor style (one of the adaptive hunor styles) significantly predicted higher self-esteem, which they are positively correlated. Aggressive humor style (maladaptive humor style was negatively correlated with self-esteem. The study supported the findings of the previous literature.
