Impact of Mindfulness on Resilience and Quality of Life among Young Adults

This study explores the influence of mindfulness practices on resilience and quality of life among young adults. Mindfulness, defined as the awareness that emerges through paying attention on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgmentally, has gained increasing attention for its potential benefits on psychological well-being. The study employed a survey questionnaire method to gather data from a sample of young adults aged between 18 to 25 years. The questionnaire comprised validated scales to measure mindfulness, resilience, and quality of life. Participants were asked to rate their level of mindfulness, resilience, and quality of life based on the provided scales. Additionally, demographic information such as age, gender, and educational background were collected to understand potential variations across different groups. The analysis of the collected data revealed significant positive correlations between mindfulness, resilience, and quality of life among young adults. Specifically, individuals who reported higher levels of mindfulness tended to exhibit greater resilience and perceived their quality of life to be higher. These findings underscore the potential importance of integrating mindfulness practices into interventions aimed at promoting resilience and enhancing the overall quality of life among young adults. Implications of the study findings for mental health interventions and future research directions are discussed.Metrics
