Menstrual Pain, Depression, Anxiety and Stress Among Women

The study focused on the relationship between menstrual pain, depression, anxiety, and stress among women. Data from an online survey of 201 women was used to conduct descriptive research. The data were gathered using the MSQ Menstrual Symptom Questionnaire (Margaret Chesney) and the DASS Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Scales (Sydney H. Lovibond and Peter F. Lovibond). The relationship between menstrual pain, depression, anxiety, and stress was examined using a Pearson correlation test. The findings suggest that there is a significant negative correlation between menstrual pain and depression. The findings suggest that there is a significant negative correlation between menstrual pain and anxiety. The findings also suggest that there is a significant negative correlation between menstrual pain and stress.Metrics
