Use of social-media has been on a steep rise with GenZ putting in a lot of efforts to establish themselves as social-media influencers. Social-media is not a safe space for everyone with the amount of cyberbullying and trolling that takes place on it. The aim of the current research is to assess the relationship between social-media addiction and Dark Triad traits (DTT) and self-esteem, among Indian GenZ. The total sample taken was 94 (N=47 male and N=47 female). Standardized scales were used to measure the variables of social-media addiction, DTT, and self-esteem. The findings of the study revealed a significant negative correlation between social-media addiction and self-esteem. The results also show that there is no significant difference between the groups (male and female) in Dark triad traits.Metrics
