Abstract

Emotional Intelligence, Social Intelligence and Spiritual Intelligence have been proposed as the strong contenders over cognitive concepts of intelligence. The definitions of emotional, social and spiritual intelligences vary among the theorists and have many overlaps on the dimensions. Present study aims to study relationship among emotional, social and spiritual intelligence. It was hypothesized that there will be strong positive correlations between the three intelligences. This correlational study used three online tools Matrix Emotional Intelligence Test, Social Intelligence Test and Spiritual Intelligence Test and found out scores of 23 girls between the age group 20-25 years pursuing post-graduation in psychology from Department of Psychology, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara. Pearson Product Moment Correlations reveals distinct pattern of relationship among the three intelligences – Emotional, Social, and Spiritual. The implications of the findings are discussed in the light of conceptual overlap of the three intelligences.
