Abstract

Objective: A few previous studies have examined cognitive behavioral treatment for anxiety disorders. Methods: The study was based on a quasi-experimental study include two groups pre-post-test design with three months of follow-up. 21 total numbers of participants were taken to the population by applying the purposive sampling technique. All patients received cognitive behavioral therapy. Data was analyzed using One-Way Repeated Measures ANOVA. Results: hereT was a significant difference in the level of anxiety p<0.05 across three time periods. Conclusions: It was concluded that cognitive behavioral therapy was a suitable intervention for reducing the anxiety level for clients. These findings contribute to the broader literature on treatment heterogeneity, and may inform personalized care for persons seeking anxiety treatment in primary care settings.
