Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out about how is the impact of positive thinking can affects future anxiety that mediates through self-acceptance. This research sample consists of 84 students that experience physical disabilities such as hearing impairment, blind, mental disability, cerebral palsy, autism, and other physical disabilities. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling that is by specific subject that later will be studied. The scale that used are Albrecht positive thinking scale, zaleski future anxiety and self-acceptance scale. The conclusion form the research on positive thinking and future anxiety are significant between positive thinking and future anxiety that mediated through self-acceptance. This means that if physical disabilities student have an ability to think positive and well self-acceptance they still have anxiety about future that they will face later.
