Emotional adjustment among higher primary and high school students of Mysuru city

The emotional adjustment refers to personal acceptance and adaptation to one’s circumstance. The study investigated the emotional adjustment among government and non-government higher primary and high school students in Mysuru city. 240 voluntary participants in the age group of 12 to 16 years [boys 120 (12.57%); SD=2.89 and girls 120 (14.42%); SD=2.58 students of higher primary and high school students for class VII and VIII To assess the emotional adjustment in the participants used School Adjustment Inventory for School Students (AISS) (Sinha & Singh 2007). The random sampling method was adopted to collect the data. The data were analyzed using independent sample t-test. The findings of the study indicated a significant difference in some areas. The findings are discussed.Metrics
