A comparative study of anxiety in male and female students

Anxiety is a multidimensional construct that has been defined as the set of phenomenological, physiological, and behavioral responses that accompany concern about possible negative consequences or failure on an exam or similar evaluation. Anxiety is prevalent problems in colleges across the country. “There is no question that all of the national surveys we have at our fingertips show a distinct rise in the number of mental health problems. This study aims at comparing the level of anxiety in male and female students at Ranchi. Results of data analysis suggested that female students scored higher anxiety level than male student. A significant difference was observed between male and female students.Metrics
