The purpose of the study was to assess the correlation between Narcissism, Perfectionism and Big-5 Personality factors and to identify, which; if any specific Big 5 PFs play a significant role in individuals when Narcissism and Perfectionism is concerned. The sample (N= 200) is representative of young adult population of Indian origin (aged 20-35 years); obtained using convenience sampling. Analyses revealed a significant positive correlation between Narcissism and Perfectionism. The Big 5 PFs correlate with Narcissism and Perfectionism. Extraversion is the only Big 5 PF that is positively correlated with both narcissism and perfectionism. Gender differences exist in Narcissism, but not in Perfectionism. Stepwise regression revealed that neuroticism is important predictor of perfectionism and extraversion is important predictor of narcissism.Metrics
