Depression and Anxiety among Diabetic Patients

Introduction: Aim of study was to understand the significant relationship between Anxiety and depression among diabetic patients. Beck Depression Inventory and Hamilton Anxiety Rating were used to administer the study. Methodology: Study was to understand the strength of correlation between anxiety and depression among diabetic patients. Standardized questionnaires were chosen and distributed among 60 participants. Quantitative analysis and Pearson Correlation were constructed to find out the significant relationship between anxiety and depression. T test were administered to find out the impact of these variables in men and women. Result And Discussion: Anxiety and depression are highly correlated and had significant correlation in diabetic patients. There is no significant gender differences among diabetic patients. Conclusion: Concludes that there is significant relationship between anxiety and depression.Published
