Abstract

The teaching-learning process is a critical component of education that ensures the dissemination of knowledge and the development of skills. However, for visually challenged individuals, this process is fraught with challenges that hinder their ability to fully participate and benefit from educational opportunities. This literature review explores the various challenges faced by visually challenged people in the teaching-learning process, including barriers to accessing educational materials, the limitations of assistive technologies, the lack of inclusive learning environments, and the social and psychological barriers that affect their learning experiences. The review also discusses potential solutions and strategies to address these challenges, drawing on existing literature and research.
