In this literature review, I will be talking about the various factors that affect job performance and motivation of employees at the workplace. Naturally the workplace is a dynamic setting which constantly evokes different emotions, perspectives and opinions with regard to oneself or others which affect performance and motivation. However, these factors are not just inherent (educational qualifications, time, effort) that evoke certain responses but situational as well. People not only attribute the difference in reward allocation, performance appraisal to inherent factors but also to other factors some being equitable pay perception, work expectancy, organisational justice which eventually impact performance, motivation and job satisfaction.Published
